DOMREMY LA PUCELLE
JOAN OF ARC'S BIRTHPLACE
Description
Joan of Arc was born in a modest ploughman’s house around 1412, during the Hundred Years’ War.
Since the 15th century, this house preserved and enhanced with sculptures and inscriptions, in memory of this emblematic figure in French history. The façade bears witness to the 6th centuries of this house, while its four rooms, small and sober, invite you to reflect and remember the existence of a young girl who has become an internationally famous heroine.
