LA FONTAINE DE LA RUE MAUCERVELLE
Description
This fountain, also known as the 3 Swans Fountain, was built in 1828.
It was intended to be identical to the fountain on Place aux Porcs (now Place des Travailleurs), but was enlarged during construction to serve as a drinking trough for cattle at the nearby market (on Place Maxonrupt).
The Romarimont artist Jean Montémont painted this fountain in 1959.
