A drystone wall of indeterminate age, it has served as the territorial boundary between Saint-Amé and Saint-Étienne-Lès-Remiremont since the 18th century.
Listed as a Monument Historique, it is 29m long, 13m wide and 7m high. Considered a means of passage between Saint-Mont and the Massif du Fossard, its origin remains unknown. An unforgettable escape into the heart of nature.
Since April 2023, it has been forbidden to cross the Pont des Fées, so volunteers have set up a new route offering a magnificent view of the Pont des Fées, a historic and heritage site that links the Morthomme to the Saint-Mont by crossing a scree slope.
Access by car from Saint-Amé or Saint-Etienne-lès-Remiremont.
