PLOMBIERES LES BAINS
PARC IMPERIAL
Description
The Imperial Park of Plombières-les-bains was built in 1856 on the orders of Napoleon III. You will stroll freely and during your walk, you will discover the 80 different tree species that make it proud. You can, according to your desires, practice petanque, mini golf, hiking or fishing in the pond and discover the Parc des Miniatures, a real showcase of the monuments of the Great East (admission fee).
Further on, you will discover the outdoor leisure pool, which is open every day in summer in good weather.
The park is located in front of the former Plombières station. It was built in 1878 and operated for 100 years. Now completely restructured and extended in the spirit of a preserved railway, it was replaced on 15 November 2001 by the current Casino in our resort. The park is open to the forest and allows you to reach the Stanislas Fountain by the circuit N°3 or by the Sport, Nature and Discovery trail which crosses a remarkable field of rocks. The park has a surface area of 44,670 m².
