Description
Gothic structure with a sleeve (16th century). Christ on one side is a counterpart to a Virgin and Child. The octagonal barrel with Gothic arches housing a St Pierre patron of Remiremont, St Paul, St Sébastien protecting against certain diseases, St Barthélémy patron of Fougerolles-le-Château, St Nicolas patron of Lorraine, a bishop, St Jacques and St André patron of Franche-Comté. Under St. Peter, a kneeling woman, probably the donor. Cross classified as a historical monument (16/09/1908) among a circuit of 145 crosses on the Val d'Ajol.
